Workshop B

8:00 am - 9:30 am Building the Data Foundation for AI
Cathy Normand - Upstream Data Governance Principal, ExxonMobil

Less than 25% of organizations consider themselves data-driven, despite almost all of them ‘drowning’ in operational data. To drive value from data, companies must not only harness the right data but also employ advanced tools to turn it into actionable insights. This will help you create a strong and reliable foundation for AI initiatives. This workshop

will explore how leading operators are transforming raw data into valuable insights that unlock opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and growth. The workshop will focus on:

● Identifying high-value data and eliminating noise, ensuring your teams focus on the most impactful information

● Exploring strategies for improving data accessibility and collaboration, breaking down silos to foster cross-functional insight sharing

● Learning about key data visualization and analytics tools that enable quicker, more accurate decision-making

● Ensuring compliance with industry and governmental regulations

● Discussing how to draw insights by leveraging AI and ML to turn operational data into predictive models that drive efficiency and uncover new opportunities

Workshop C

9:45 am - 11:15 am There is No AI without PI: The Process Insights You Need to Prepare for Enterprise-Wide Generative and Agentic AI Implementation
Jon Krome - Industry Principal - Energy, Celonis
Christian Barlow - Principal Value Engineer, Celonis

Process Intelligence (PI) is critical for organizations to generate value from their business operations and tech investments, especially generative artificial intelligence (AI). In fact, there isn’t any type of enterprise AI without PI.

Consumer AI works because it has both a wealth of data to train on (books, articles, web pages) and the context necessary for it to understand how all those raw data points relate to each other (Wikipedia, online archives, etc.). This is often not the case in the enterprise, where there’s plenty of raw data from business systems (ERP, CRM, etc.), but no Wikipedia-like reference to connect all that disparate information. Process Intelligence provides this connection—the unique business context necessary to enable effective enterprise generative AI.

This workshop will dive into the fundamental foundational process insights your organization requires to scale enterprise-wide AI solutions.

Workshop D

9:45 am - 11:15 am From Hype to Impact: Maximizing Asset Performance with Real Time AI Analytics
Sathisan Vannadil - Senior Partner Solutions Architect, AWS
Hugo Sheng - Senior Director of Engineering, Qlik

In the oil and gas sector, real-time data is a critical asset, yet some estimate less than 15% of organizations effectively leverage it for predictive analytics and generative AI. It’s time to uncover common barriers and move from hype to impact in maximizing asset performance. This workshop engages attendees in a thoughtful discussion on why AI projects fail, how to avoid the common pitfalls of AI projects and lessons learned. Attendees will walk away ready move from Hype to realizing value with the power of AI.

  • Understand where your organization sits in the AI maturity model, and how to advance to the next level
  • Gain insights into establishing a scalable infrastructure that supports continuous AI-based analysis, enabling predictive and prescriptive maintenance
  • Explore real-world use cases where real-time AI-based monitoring has maximized asset reliability and reduced unplanned maintenance
  • See how AI-driven real-time analysis identifies inefficiencies and optimizes asset utilization, leading to improved operational outcomes
