Reynaldo Gonzalez is a recognized leader in cybersecurity with over 18 years of experience in networking, architecture, and cybersecurity strategy. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Networking & System Administration from RIT and a Master’s in Cybersecurity specializing in Cyber Operations from Utica University, Reynaldo holds esteemed certifications including CCNP (Security, R&S), CCDP, CISSP, and CEH. Reynaldo began his career at Cisco Systems, where he consulted and led solutions for complex infrastructures across the Americas and Europe. His passion for cybersecurity has driven him to excel in roles that emphasize cybersecurity awareness, security architecture, risk reduction, education, global collaboration, and speaking opportunities. A thought leader and educator, he has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor at Lonestar College and serves as an Advisory Board member for Houston Community College. Reynaldo’s commitment to excellence is underscored by his participation in the HITEC Emerging Executive Program and McKinsey Academy for Hispanic Leadership. Currently, Reynaldo serves as a Principal Cybersecurity Architect at Cummins, where he leads Enterprise and OT/IoT Cybersecurity initiatives that safeguard critical infrastructure and reduce cyber risk. Previously, he played a pivotal role in defining OT cybersecurity strategies at United Airlines and remains an influential contributor to industry standards through active participation in the Auto-ISAC OT Workgroup. A dedicated advocate for cybersecurity education, Reynaldo actively engages in community efforts to promote awareness and strengthen the industry’s future. His collaborative approach and expertise make him a trusted voice in the cybersecurity community.
