Cia Ai is a seasoned general counsel in the power generation and utilities sector. Her work places her at the forefront of Asia Pacific’s transition from coal to Net Zero. She specialises in low carbon and renewable energy projects, with a focus on solar PV, battery storage, green hydrogen, and cross border energy import. Over the years she has advised on more than 30GW of power projects across APAC, giving her firsthand opportunity to witness the region’s unprecedented push for green energy. Cia Ai is an advocate and solicitor of Singapore. Prior to joining Marubeni, she was part of the power and infrastructure practice of an international law firm where she advised power developers and RE100 companies on their green energy investments.
