Giuseppe began his career in 1987 in the field of Exploration and Production (E&P) with the ENI group. He joined the group IFP in 1997 as Project Manager in charge of consulting services internationally.

Giuseppe became part of today’s ENGIE group in 2001 by rejoining Gaz de France E&P Business Unit .

In 2006 he moved to the LNG trading activities where he was appointed in 2012 as Senior VP in charge of LNG supply contracts for GDF SUEZ.

In 2012 he became Director of Gas Supplies for Southern Europe and from 2016, responsible for the management of Engie’s European gas capacities portfolio.

Giuseppe took over the role of Chief Commercial Officer for Elengy in September 2018.

Giuseppe Spotti, CCO of Elengy (part of the Engie group), will be demonstrating how terminals can evolve into regional hubs to meet the needs of multiple user groups. He’ll be presenting an historic overview of terminal operations over the past twenty years, looking at the gradual growth of LNG and what other ports and terminal operators can learn from the trials and tribulations of the past. Furthermore, this session will also explore what the future has in store for the port/terminal relationship.
