Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding traces its history of building quality ships back to 1902. Its portfolio reveals the diversity of products delivered consisting of articulated tug-barges, fishing vessels, dredges, offshore supply vessels, ferries and finally LNG bunker barges—the yard is experienced in construction of complex vessels of every variety.

The shipyard delivered its first 5,500 CBM LNG bunkering barge on time in December 2021 and is currently building a second 5,500 CBM for Polaris New Energy and a 12,000 CBM Bunker Barge for Crowley Maritime Corporation. Continuing the strategy to create a complete platform of LNG transport solutions for U.S. customers.

The shipyard is skilled in the time-sensitive repair and conversion of the Great Lakes bulk carrier fleet, and its overall record for on-time delivery is unmatched.
