Iqbal Qasim has 20 years of professional experience in chemical manufacturing in the oil and gas industry, serving in a variety of technical, business development and operational leadership roles. Iqbal is a Fellow Chemical Engineer/Fellow of IChemE. He is chartered Engineer of Engineering Council and IChemE. He is certified functional safety engineer and an API510 certified inspector. He has established himself as an accomplished speaker presenting across the world. He is working with Baker Hughes from 2018 and currently serve as Global Process Safety Leader supporting and providing necessary HSE/Process Safety/Engineering leadership for chemical manufacturing sites, new greenfield projects, Operations team and Tollers. He manages and ensures regulatory compliance for multiple Major Hazard Facilities across the world working in different jurisdictions which provided him a deeper and better understanding of regulations across the world.
