Dr. Perla Manlapaz is the Occupational Medicine Programs & Informatics Manager, Health and Medical based in San Ramon, California. In this capacity, Dr. Manlapaz, leads the functional team in identifying, defining developing, maintaining clinical standards, oversees the global implementation of Fitness for Duty and Health Surveillance Program, Fatigue Risk Management Standard, Electronic Medical Records, Informatics and other health and clinical technology and solutions. She also initiates and leads global health and medical projects and oversees talent management and organizational capability of clinical staff.

Dr. Manlapaz began her career at Philippine Geothermal Holdings, Inc. (Unocal) as a Medical consultant in 1998 and later on as the Health and Medical Manager, leading and managing the Health and Medical Services of the company in 2001. She continued to lead the Health and Medical unit after the merging of Unocal with Chevron in 2006. She developed and implemented Health and Wellness programs, health related standards, protocols and procedures for the company. She served as subject matter expert and provided guidance and expertise to other Chevron business units in the Philippines and Asia Pacific region before moving to the corporate office in 2010. In 2023, she became the interim Central and South Americas Regional Medical Manager prior to her current position as the Occupational Medicine Programs and informatics Manager.
