Ben is Chevron’s Product Line Manager supporting assurance of our global well design and execution processes.
Prior to this role he was an upstream digital advisor, supporting and enabling digital transformation in Chevron’s North American business units (Gulf of Mexico, California, Permian Basin and Canada). Before that he held various positions in the wells function, including rigsite foreman, drilling engineer and superintendent, working in Canada, California and Texas.
He is passionate about driving change and innovation to improve decision making and “engineer happiness” at work. A career highlights was standing up Chevron’s real-time decision support center to stream data and provide support to Chevron’s global rig fleet.
Ben is from Australia, his wife, Christine, is from Canada, and together they live in Houston with their 3 dogs.
He has 15 years of industry experience, holds a double bachelors degree in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering from the University of Adelaide, Australia, and earned his MBA from Rice in April 2021
