Azri has 25 years of industry expertise. He has spent 12 years in manufacturing design and operations, specifically in New Product Introduction (NPI) for electronics manufacturing services (EMS) and original design manufacturing (ODM) for global technology leading companies. Azri joined Group Technical Solutions, PETRONAS in 2010 and has been pivotal in driving multiple multidisciplinary initiatives such as operation excellence (OE), operation readiness and facilities handover across PETRONAS group and businesses. Azri's problem-solving approach and field experience have enabled him to deliver effective solutions to address problems and pain points.

In 2019, he spearheaded the establishment of the Remote & Autonomous Operation (RAO) concept and guidelines for safe and sustainable operations in PETRONAS as part of their New Way of Working. The adoption includes conceptual design, engineering, technology selections, and operating philosophy.
