Connor Taylor has a mechanical engineering background and strong passion for offshore execution and optimization of systems. He started his career in the Gulf of Mexico executing larger capital projects where he scoped, performed economical analysis, engineered, and executed projects. A few projects include repurposing export pumps for hot oil circulation, recoating large ballast tanks, and transformed the utility water package. He then transitioned to operations to be the primary engineer for troubleshooting and optimizing systems. He worked with the drilling rig to flowback new wells, planned all platform activities, and the major project team leveraged his technical expertise for the development of the Jack St Malo water injection module. He now works supporting the offshore assets in the Eastern Mediterranean based out of Israel. His role is operations and process safety engineer where he specializes in completing incident investigations and implementing engineered solutions to the root causes to improve system reliability.
