Melvin Leong is a Principal Research Analyst within the Upstream Cost & Supply Chain group of S&P Global. Melvin is currently responsible for research into the offshore wind supply chain and valuation of offshore support and construction vessels. Other previous research includes offshore drilling companies, construction vessels, subsea equipment, and offshore support vessels. Prior to joining S&P Global, Melvin was a subsea flow assurance team lead with TechnipFMC, delivering several projects in the Asia Pacific region, and serving as a subject matter expert on related technical areas. Melvin holds a MSc. in Civil Engineering from Nottingham University and a B.Eng degree in Engineering from Nanyang Technological University. He is a member of the Institute of Engineers (Singapore) and an Associate Chartered Valuer and Appraiser.
